The Team

The team at Rosalita includes a private chef, a house manager, three butlers, three housekeepers, three garden / beach maintenance staff, and a nightly security guard. We take great pride in our hardworking, skilled staff and know that the Rosalita team will take excellent care of you during your stay.

Chef Peter came to Rosalita house via Maine, where he was executive Chef at Earth Restaurant in Kennebunk. Peter was trained at the Culinary Institute of America where he received a degree in Culinary Arts and Hospitality Management. Peter had prior experience working for numerous high end farm to table restaurants. He brings passion and creativity to the planning process, is always searching for locally sourced ingredients, and enjoys creating a spin on Bahamian favourites. 

Janette joined Rosalita at inception, starting as Butler and quickly working her way up to House Manager. Janette trained at Charles MacPherson and Associates in Toronto. Prior to joining us at Rosalita House, Janette had experience working in hospitality on the island, at Rock House Hotel and Coral Sands Hotel. Janette brings a passion for service and sincere care for others, excellent leadership and communication skills, and a deep knowledge of the island that only a local could have. Janette goes above and beyond to make sure your stay is comfortable and enjoyable.
